Borders - Traditional Timber Wine Racking

For those who prefer the character and tradition of timber wine racking.
Use Borders timber wine rack kits to DIY assemble one of
these very popular types of timber and black steel pocket
style wine racks...... or join two or more together to build a
  larger rack.

It's the timber in Borders wine racking that sets it apart.
All Rails are of consistent quality timber that has been dressed
and sanded to a high standard. The Hardwood timber is then
stained to "furniture quality". All timber is certified as coming
  from managed plantations.

 •  Available in modern Dressed Pine or traditional Stained Hardwood

 All timber dressed and sanded

 Durable black steel frames

 Plastic label protectors included
 •  Secure ‘No nails required’ design

Suitable for commercial and domestic wine storage and display

Connecters and Filler Straps available for joining two or more racks
together to build a larger rack

The grain and colour of your timber may vary from that shown because
of natural timber variations and the
colour performance of your
computer monitor or printer.

  Assembly and Installation

Pocket style wine racks of this general type require extra assembly time to assure correct  insertion & alignment of the steel framework into the timber rails. Larger racks are also heavier to handle. We do not consider DIY assembly of kits larger than the 132 bottle size to be practical and recommend the convenience of Borders Connecters and Filler Straps to join assembled kits together. These also make it easier to grow the racking to an even larger size later and to break it down when relocating.

No nails are used in assembly to protect the timber from potential splitting.

Racks taller than 11 pockets must be secured to a vertical surface using Borders Wall Connecters or similar.
