Your timber may not look
the same as those shown above because of natural timber variations,
the type of screen or printer being used to view them, or the light
in which they are being viewed. Hardwood is supplied stained for
colour consistency.

Building Bigger Wine Racks |
|
Borders
timber wine racks are supplied in 30 and 40/42 bottle ready to
assemble DIY kits. Firm fitting, colour matched Connecters are
used to securely join these together when larger racks are
required.
The
wine rack kits can be connected vertically for increased height
and/or horizontally for increased width. Your wine rack will be
the number of pockets*
times 95 mm wide by the number of pockets*
times 95mm high. Add 40 mm to this width and height to
allow for the thickness of the wooden rails.

Use 2 Connecters per Rail when
joining one rack on top of another. Connectors can also
be double spaced across the width of the rack when joining

Wine racks of this general design and
construction are not hard to assemble but assembly
can be tedious; particularly when assembling large racks.
Large racks can also be heavy
to handle.
Borders timber wine racking then is supplied in two
complementary and convenient 30 and 40/42 bottle ready to
assemble kit sizes. These allow bigger racks to be built by
the easier
to manage method of joining assembled kits together with our
secure, colour matching Connecters. The Connecter method also
makes it easier to grow racks to a bigger size on
a progressive basis (and to break them down into smaller
elements when relocating them).
No nails are used in assembly to protect the timber from
potential splitting.
Racks over 12 pockets high should be attached securely to a
wall using the free supplied Borders Wall Brackets.
