Individual CellarStak module

Assembled CellarStak Wine Rack CS 35 Convenience Kit

  Planning & Buying Your Rack

STEP 1: Determine how many modules you require.

The bottle capacity of your rack will be the same as the number of modules (plus those bottles than can be stored across the top of the rack on 'open' or 'closed' modules).

Each CellarStak module is 10.5cm (105mm) wide by 10.5cm high and will store one bottle. Rack height will be number of modules by10.5cm. Rack width will be number of modules by 10.5cm.

Racks can be configured in any shape or size in one module increments (including omitting modules to create 'holes' in the rack). Use the CellarStak module calculator to assist in working out the number of modules that can be fitted into irregularly shaped spaces.

STEP 2:
Select Optional Accessories (Top Plates and Feet)

top of the rack.
Price: $14.50 per pack of 10. Available in Black or White.

As a general rule, Top Plates are only fitted to Racks where the top row of
bottles will be on view and the plates will improve the aesthetics of the rack. Top Plates can be easily fitted after the rack is assembled so a mind change to fit them later is quite practical.

Feet, as a general rule, are only fitted to racks where for aesthetic or practical reasons it is desirable to raise the bottom row of bottles off the floor. Feet can be spaced across the rack as per the chart.

Maximum feet spacing:
Racks 1-8 modules high
- every
3rd module
Racks 9-16 modules high
 - every
2nd module
Racks 17-30 modules high
 - every module

STEP 3:
Decide if ‘Systems Packs’ or ‘Convenience Kits’ (or a combination of the two)
best meet your requirements... and determine how many are required.

CellarStak is sold in 50, 30 and 10 module Systems Packs and 50 & 30 module Convenience kits. The Convenience Kits contain 5 Top Plates and 5 pair of Feet for adding a finishing touch to racks being used to store and show modest home collections. Click here for more information

STEP 4:
Rack top display option.

Packs are available for adding an inclined bottle display at the top of a
Systems Pack. The pack contains 5 special purpose modules with each module
holding 2 bottles: one inclined and the other below it stored in the usual
lay-down attitude. They can be added to any rack but are particularly
suited to adding to a 10 module high rack to allow it to store a dozen
bottles in each column (with the top bottle inclined for display).

Purchase Feet to add to the Display packs to allow them to be assembled as
small stand-alone 5 bottle wide (or smaller) display racks.

  Assembling & Installing CellarStak

CellarStak is assembled as columns of modules that are slid together using their inbuilt interlocking dovetail system. Racks are secure and strong enough to be assembled away from the installation area and then be carried to it. A rubber mallet or similar is the only tool required for assembly.

Caution is required when creating overhangs or larger openings in a rack. While CellarStak assembles with "brick wall" like qualities, these can require reinforcing in a similar manner to those in a brick wall. Also note that openings created for display or storage purposes will usually require a glass or wooden base added. Consult The Wine Rack Shop for further information.
Racks taller than 12 modules must be securely attached to a wall or similar. Wall Brackets for this purpose are included in all 50 and 30 module packs and kits.
