Terms and Conditions


The Wine Rack Shop is Australia’s locally owned and operated factory direct online specialist supplier of quality and value DIY & custom wine racking, wine shelving and wine accessories. We are located in Adelaide, South Australia, and deliver Australia wide. The majority of our product range is made or assembled in Australia to our design and specification.



Orders are generally delivered by Australia Post or Border Express and left as near as practical to the customers "front door"  if no one is available to accept them. Our order form includes the ability to nominate an alternate “driver friendly” drop off area near the front door.

The estimated cost of delivery can be calculated during the ordering process before the order is confirmed.

Deliveries are not made to Australia Post boxes.   Australia Post parcel post satchels may however be used for delivering small articles.

Special arrangements can usually be made for deliveries to remote areas.

Most orders will be delivered within 5 – 10 working days of payment (except for Borders custom racking which will be 10 to 14 working days).

All deliveries are made from our warehouse in Kilburn, South Australia, and quoted prices and deliveries are for deliveries within Australia only.



On-line orders can be paid for by Visa & MasterCard, by PayPal and by payment direct into our account*. Credit card payments are processed through the e-Way secure payment gateway system.

Telephone orders can be paid for by Visa & MasterCard or by payment direct into our account*.

All products are warranted to be of good quality and suitable for their intended purpose for a period of 24 months after delivery.   We reserve the right to choose between repairing or replacing product according to its location and the circumstances and/or the severity of the failure or damage that have caused any claim to be made. Warranty does not cover products that have been damaged or modified in any way during assembly or installation or that have been incorrectly assembled,   installed or applied.

Difficulty in assembling or installing a product is not accepted as a warranty consideration unless caused by faulty components.

Claims must be supported by photographic evidence when requested.

The cost of returning product under warranty is to be pre-paid by the sender unless agreed otherwise by us in writing prior it being dispatched. Contact our Help desk if assistance is required to  arrange return delivery .


Change of mind returns

 “Change of mind” or incorrectly chosen orders in “as delivered” condition can be returned to our warehouse within 21 days of the original delivery for a full refund (excluding delivery charges).  Returns will be checked before a refund is issued and costs incurred in returning the product to “as delivered” will be deducted from the refund.  Return delivery costs are to be paid by you. 



We respect the privacy of our customers by not maintaining mailing lists and by not sharing customer details with third parties except those to whom we have a lawful need or enforceable obligation to do so.

Customers who elect to act as referees for us or our products will not have their details released unless permission in writing has first been obtained.

We reserve the right to publish without buyer permission images of selected product installations. The captions on any such images will be limited to identifying the general location of the installation.
